Couldn't Love it More : OtterBox Commuter Series Hybrid Case for iPod touch 4G (Purple/White)

I've long been a fan of Otterbox products. I had them back when I was into Blackberries, and had one save a phone when a hose I was using burst at the nozzle spraying me with a lot of water. This however isn't up to the usual Otterbox quality.

First, the included screen protector is great. It is barely noticeable. Then again, it is kind of hard to get these wrong.

Next you put the rubberized measure of the protector onto the iPod. This goes very easily.

Now you slide on the hard plastic wrapper to hold all things in place. This goes quite well.

After a relatively short number of time, a bubble or bump developed in the bar that surrounds the activity button on the iPod. So it no longer lays flat against the base glass. You can kind of work this out and tighten the rubber measure by animated the hard casing, but that is short lived.

So I got in touch with Otterbox to have a change unit sent out. Otterbox has overwhelming customer service. I speedily had a change cover in my hands, and now the color my daughter originally wanted but they were sold out of. The rubberized measure was much more snug on the iPod this time, so I plan we were good to go. Again after a few weeks, that same bubble developed in the bottom bar.

My old inescapable Otterbox experiences were with their rigid cases which didn't have any rubber. I was very pleased with those products. I feel that the rubber used in these just isn't the precise build material for the protective cases.
